Provide frontline support to the Cast Iron operation to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Specifically, lead electrical/control troubleshooting and assist maintenance with hydraulic and mechanicals troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Identify and correct equipment issues that are hindering performance. Complete projects/initiatives that drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical/control troubleshooting and assist maintenance with hydraulic and mechanicals troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Understand the fundamentals of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
- Understand PLC/robotic logic and make minor revisions.
- Lead troubleshooting with a systematic approach
- Utilize technical expertise to routinely develop and train operations and maintenance staff.
- Drive continuous improvement in operation’s metrics by identifying, coordinating, and completing projects that will improve Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
- Monitor equipment cycle-time and own the resolution of issues causing delays
- Maintain and own, all machine code backups for IC Value Stream equipment. Specifically: PLC, drive, Panelview, and robot programs.
- Complete daily walk throughs of equipment and proactively identify potential failures. Leverage maintenance and operations teams to proactively resolve issues.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a two-year degree in engineering technology, advanced manufacturing, and/or controls
- Three to five years of practical experience is preferred
- Strong verbal, written, and personal computer skills
