An exciting new opportunity to join our award-winning Lighting / LED Manufacturer in search of a dynamic Warehouse Manager to uphold the operations and service level and success of the company has achieved for 20 years. 

The company is proud to be a family-owned business. They offer a comprehensive line of energy-efficient LED bulbs, fixtures, and luminaires for every application. Their lights come equipped with high-performance diodes which emit an industry-leading amount of lumens per watt ration and are available in various color temperatures and flood degrees. Known for quality, durability, and performance, our LED lighting solutions are in high demand among electrical supply houses and lighting suppliers across the continental U.S.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Warehouse Manager is an essential contributor to the operations and sales team and a critical manager and direct contributor to the business operations, maintaining the highest level of efficacy and client service standards set by the company that is a reflection of a premium brand. 

  • Manager is responsible for driving productivity by planning daily labor requirements according to the “Daily Work Plan”.
  • Responsible for learning, updating, opening, and closing loads in our system.
  • Manager is responsible for daily processing and verification of employee timecards.
  • Manager is responsible for learning and understanding our Systems and is responsible for creating door moves in the system and ensuring trailers and  containers are switched in or out in a timely manner.
  • Troubling belt system issues and problems.
  • Always Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Train and provide corrective action as needed to the team.
  • Provide insight and suggestions for improvements in efficiency and safety.
  • Coordination and communication with Senior Leadership and other department leaders to ensure consistent levels of production.
  • Communication with vendors and customers as needed.
  • Unwavering commitment to safety.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has experience in Warehouse Management and Operations ideally with similar scope and flow of operations. 

  • 2 years of warehouse management experience
  • 2 years of experience with batch software
  • Strong analytical/problem-solving skills
  • Leadership mindset
  • Computer proficiency 
  • Excellent communicator (Spanish is an asset)
  • Highly organized and proficient

Education:

High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
